I hope I'm wrong but that looks like a retrospective comment to me, when reading the entire paragraph...i.e. no other superior offer was received.

"The Latin Resources Board has unanimously recommended the Scheme in the absence of a SuperiorProposal (as defined in the SIA) emerging and subject to an independent expert concluding (andcontinuing to conclude) that the Scheme is in the best interests of Latin Resources shareholders"

The question I'm keen to know is when was LRS "put up for sale" to have the chance of receiving a superior offer. This has come so out of the blue to most of us it seems. As a very long term holder myself I am very much hoping something better does come along, because the current 0.07 conversion offer doesn't do this SP .
