Lithium price was atleast 30% higher 30 days ago. In this climate it would have been very hard to secure funding for building the mine. Look at what happened to LTR after banks pulled out the funding due to falling Lithium prices.
Additionally cash balance is so low that PLS had lent $10m AUD for working capital expenses. This offer could have come very easily after a CR. So count your lucky stars and accept your gains/losees.
