yes once analysts digest the info and calibrate projections the money will flow in slowly.
Focusing on the PE is a disservice to your time imo. Look at EPS, growth, margins etc. Actual business metrics are what influence large funds and how they invest. I wouldn't be surprised to see the PE move in lockstep as the SP appreciates in the coming years.
