This time might be different, but PME has a history of being as watertight as a fishes' ar$e in respect to news of contract wins. So I am skeptical that the recent run up has been fueled by rumour of this latest contract win.

Maybe I was expecting too much, given how far the SP has come recently.

I forgot to mention in my previous post, that these contract wins have come amid the pandemic, which still rages in the US. This makes these wins all the more encouraging.

With respect to the discussion of a short squeeze, here are my days-to-cover figures for various turnover averaging periods.
The turnover has been declining recently and the days-to-cover increasing accordingly.
Perhaps the negative response today is due to the shorters desperately trying to keep a lid on it.
Otherwise it's puzzling.
