I rank not becoming a PME shareholder as being in the top 5 investing mistakes I've made.
It is never a good practice to dwell on investment regrets or succumbing to "return envy" when stocks you don't own are going parabolic, but I struggle to avoid beating myself up for not buying this beast of a company several years ago.
I did all the research, assessed the potential and the risks, very much liked what I saw, but just got distracted and didn't execute by buying the darn thing. (I think it had a $3bn market value at the time; look at that same number today).
Supremely dumb of me.
The self-flagellation continues.
