That explanation is how I have always understood "payback".
Also, your opinion regarding grades supports my view.
From memory, the PFS stated the cost per ounce to be in the mid $600s.... leaving truckloads of fat.

Hopefully the Company will fund the mine by direct debt.... its the cheapest way out.... rather than go back to shareholders (dilution).

I am waiting for a response from the Company regarding "payback" and I suspect it will confirm your explanation.... however, your terminology and general expression indicate you know your stuff.
