    Moosey, in the previous posts you have stated “if a world patent was granted” and also that “a world patent is the next step”.

    What I’ve been trying to say is that you can’t get a world patent granted.

    Nor is the filing of a world patent application “the next step” for PNV because that step was already taken on 21 December 2018.

    While you can file a patent application simultaneously in most countries of the world, using the PCT system (which is what PNV has done), you then still need to file an application separately in all the different countries in which you eventually decide you want the patent granted. Each of these countries will examine your patent application and each of these country will make their own decision as to whether or not they grant your patent.

    The following is from a guide to patenting overseas put out by IP Australia. Hopefully their explanation is clearer than mine.
