From both a fundamental perspective and a TA perspective, I think the prospects for POD are sound. Platinum futures are steadily gaining. As I type the current future prices are:

Yes, I am invested in a Western Australian silver mine because it has a small register of 260 million and high grade but others in Australia are in excess of a billion shares on the register and as such, can be easily manipulated. One major play has been dogged with red tape in NSW and is now investing overseas in silver. This in itself is risky with tax changes and social unrest for holders. Another is going to the market for capital. The companies I am talking about which are promoted to retail are SVL, IVR and ARD. SVL has approximately 1.8 billion shares, IVR approximately 1.5 b, and ARD approximately 1.5 b. Are they producers? Silver that is produced in Australia is largely a bi-product of copper mining, which has been sluggish.

On the other hand if we look at the TA of POD, IN A RISING PLATINUM market those seeking a position are advantaged by earlier tax selling and a reasonably sized register of approximately 680 On May 21, 2021 the high for POD was 71.6 cents. The last shakeout commencing April 7, 2025 saw a close of 2.1 cents. The consolidation lasted until May 16, 2025 which again saw a close of 2.1 cents. Double bottom?

Bullish volumes increased from May 19, 2025 and we have seen a couple of bumps and minor pullbacks due to market testing. The price now at 3.4 cents.

If we look at the Heikin-Ashi charting (which takes out market noise), the signs are very good for position traders to accumulate in POD imo. POD has risen past its lows. It is of note there are two indecisive candles in the Heikin-Ashi chart in a row, both lying in a narrow range. The first one is a bearish signal but the last one is bullish. There are two questions I ask myself. Will POD consolidate of will it rise? I think we are past the lows. If it consolidates I will accumulate more from tax sellers or discount price because the macro scene is rising. But if it rises I will trade it. The current TA is bullish and indicating the market will trend. Long RSI (30) holds over 50, DM1 is bullish, Awesome Oscillator is bullish as is the Commodity Channel Index. The confluence of these indicators increases the probability of success. GLTAH. Its a bargain on the fundamentals imo.
