    This article discusss bioleaching which is probably a slow process for tailings or something.

    But the article does discuss standard recoveries for Pt and Pd using traditional methods of flotation, matte smelting (https://www.britannica.com/science/metallurgy/Matte-smelting) and then leaching achieving around 85% in fresh sulphide ore. Oxide ore much lower.

    I don't see any mention of matte smelting in the POD process diagram so I assume POD is able to cut that out - which is good for cost if true.

    POD seems to have reasonable oxide results.
