we should all put this coronavirus in perspective, calm down and maybe then ask ourselves whether it was worth giving up our jobs, lives, freedoms and liberties while heaping a huge debt and tax burden on our kids and grandchildren.

On average every year 650,000 worldwide die of the common flu, including 3000 Australians, 500 NZer’s and 50,000 Americans. 400,000 people every year die of various diseases in Spain and 600,000 in Italy.

Statistics show that 99% of all related covid 19 deaths involved people who had other significant underlying health issues already and were likely to die anyway. Sad but reality of life.

When you look at covid in this context you soon realise that it pales in comparison to the common flu let alone heart disease and cancer, yet we never shut down our economy for these.

In NZ we were one of the fastest and implemented some of the harshest measures to flatten the curve and avoid the health system getting over ran, yet weeks later we have only had one death (elderly woman with severe underlying health issues already) while our hospitals lie half empty (only 13 covid patients in hospital nationwide and 2 in ICU) and the government is now having to bail out GPs because they have no patients! None of what they modelled or predicted has occurred.

The only winners in all this is our elite and governments who have used this opportunity to take more power and control at the expense of our freedoms and liberty and they haven’t stopped yet! Time to wake up before it’s too late.
