You are correct - it was pretty clear to me that whilst there will always be some big challenges in business, Pointerra definitely appears to be heading in the right direction.
There is also no doubt in my mind that 3DP would have access to capital from existing shareholders (and possibly also from new shareholders / institiutions) if required for a synergistic bolt on acquisition, but Ian mentioned again that they really wanted the business to continue to self fund it's "organic growth".
As Pointerra's revenues & cash receipts continue to increase, they in turn will then hire more development & sales staff.
There was a short discussion about acquisitions - and how it makes sense if it allows 3DP to get a better foothold in a market like the UK (eg PointFuse) or to improve their capabilities in one of their 6 x target sectors.
My previous summary also forgot that Letsee asked about the potential deal with the Tier 1 US Defence contractor, and Ian mentioned that they are expecting to hear if this contractor bid was successful anytime from now until say the middle of next year.
And that the $$ for 3DP was a little hard to define as it would be negotiated with the contractor, but the dollars from this contract (if it comes through) would be very significant.
