Read an article which claimed that an Entergy application for funds filed 19 December 2022 was strongly criticized for lack of due diligence. It referred to Entergy's poor track record on hurricane recovery demanding stronger action.

Turn the clock forward to the time of the Pointerra announcement. A far more comprehensive plan is in place and in the body of this plan they have a section titled 'Critical Preparation'

" Preparation is critical to limiting the potential damages of both anticipated and unexpected weather
events on Entergy's electrical system. A proactive approach to protecting Entergy's system against destructive weather involves many tasks and activities including :

* Completion of at least one cycle of inspections of transmission equipment prior to June of each year
* Identification and removal of dangerous trees outside of a rights-of-way to prevent them from falling into Entergy lines "

+ 3 other items not relevant to Pointerra

In theory, finalizing the plan by June of each year would fit with the Hurricane Season in the USA (from late July I think). Points to Pointerra being involved from about March, April leaving sufficient time for the Contractor to take whatever remedial action.

Given Entergy's poor track record with managing weather events, wonder if this is an example where FPL's advocacy has paid dividends.

A strong Q4 to follow if Amazon Revenue starts 1 April.
