Yeah i imagine they are pushing hard to launch the sportsbetting product live and trouble free well ahead of the Superbowl to maximise the brand reach and onboard/verify and push the FTD count up as much as possible before the 13th for obvious reasons. From the article:
As far as iGaming in PA, I'm not sure, as they have been experimenting with different offerings in the past, I wonder if it will also include the Scientific Games back catalog - I had read that someone had a few crashing issues with the Jin Ji Bao Xi game in Michigan, but that may have been fixed by SG by now. If the SG partnership does extend to PA, i imagine they will be using the same phased approach, although that is a guess on my part. Manjit Singh is ex-Aristocrat, so I think he is very capable to be able to execute on this and will allow us to provide a year round buffer for the balance sheet to offset sporting seasonality - Although Pointsbet has another Ace up its sleeve that alot of analysts miss.
