What exactly is the definition of 'profit' was my first question in relation to the ann, as half of the profits are shared with the diamantaire.
First approximation would be the difference between the raw and cut stone. The costs of materials and consumables being subtracted from the profit would make sense, however would the cost of the skilled labour be subtracted at cost or charge out rates?
And was the raw stone valued at arms length?
