i think that is not the point RH was making. My take is that fibrotic kidneys will prove to be difficult to fix, but they wont get any worse. They just wont get remarkably better like early disease might. But that would still mean if they aren’t on dialysis they might well avoid it., ie they will still need the drug for life.
In terms of numbers on the drug, for revenue calcs, the drug should work on all new patients, and thats where the real maths applies, as every year there will be a new batch of diagnoses. They will still try the drug on the rest though, and maybe it will prove useful. Maybe less useful, but the annual revenue will still be huge.
