This statement makes no sense whatsoever. It clearly indicates you have no idea what a regression model does or is capable of.

The (quarterly) regression model now has 21 data points to use to project the next data point. By then comparing the actual to the projected we can see if the growth is accelerating, constant, or decelerating. Its not that complex and NO GUESSWORK is involved.

You cited in a previous post that you had an "expectation" of the results and that had not been met. Clearly, your expectation did not involve predictive modelling using any mathematics. Which in essence then, suggests it is no more than guesswork.

I will repeat. The quarterly BTM sales value just reported fell marginally short of the value predicted, but was offset by a surprisingly large jump in BARDA revenue.

Investors/posters etc who are disappointed that growth did not meet their expectations, but base those expectations on hope and guesswork, are likely to be frequently disappointed.
