yeah I live out in the Gascoyne region, and been to onslow a number of times.
all regional towns around the region are heavily reliant on mining industry, to the point the Onslow Anzac Day service had a preamble of thanks for sponsoring by chevron’s Wheatstone project and the whole project turned up in high vis, the money it brings in benefits the town and its culturally a part of life out here. Regional WA towns understand the economic importance of mining, Onslow is no exception.
