Of course any shareholder wants to see value maximized for tenement / leases held and if this is not an option, then certainly curtailing prospective expenditure on such assets at the earliest time possible is what we would want to see.
IMO the Timor assets are the main game where value can be realised in the short term for the company and Iam comfortable that focus / expenditure / efforts are applied here to see a significant result achieve for shareholders.
On the positive we see some P&L adjustment to the group as a result of not incurring future expenses / liability's in relation to these assets
I note the MST report "There is minimal value ascribed to FDR for its UK portfolio, which implicitly assumes there is no activity which is a worst case. "
Just a recap as to what assets / opportunities FDR has in the portfolio in the Nth Sea, with the one highlighted no longer being progressed. Good to note they will continue to see reimbursements from their JV partners for expenses incurred.
