Some of the points raised were definitely a problem in the past. But it's 2024 and things have changed drastically in the last 2 years. Mass production for 4680 batteries by the Korean manufacturers is just getting started and, combined with the points I mentioned above in the US, will finally pose a serious challenge to China.
+ 3 years ago it was not even possible to predict which battery chemistry would prevail in the medium term. That has now changed too @cartex
