The ANN is not completely nothing @ProCapitalism. It's a signal to the shorts that they can't wait until late September for the POSCO deal to be finalised. They need to start covering because it's gonna happen sooner, as will the J.P. Morgan-brokered deal, I expect. AT and MR are doing the shorters a kindness. However, it might be difficult to move the SP when there's a global shorting of lithium stocks based partly on poor analysis and misinformation. That will change soon as it becomes apparent that the changes in China relating to subsidies for EVs means that those with smaller batteries and less lithium are being superceded by those with bigger batteries and more lithium. That will see demand continue to accelerate IMO.
