Hi 1mission,
Reminds me of a yarn ... once upon a time etc.,
Husband buys lots and lots of unloved and undervalued shares ... and then some.
Husband tells wife of how clever he is, grand plan, outlay and to keep signing credit card limit extensions with eyes closed.
Wife continues to work two jobs, cook, shop at Target and Savers, cut and dye own hair, fold everyon'es undies et al and always appear as happy battler's Wife in trying times .
Shares continue to dive over years to less than a third of purchase price.
Husband keeps extra busy doing "whatever" while increasingly turning to Pope for price predictions, eternal hope and spiritual guidance;
Wife checks in one day and casually asks Husband "How's the private school fee funding and that First Class no expenses spared return trip via Cunard to the Vatican coming along?"
Husband attributes instant aneomic appearance on male menopause and schedules a time for moment of truth briefing after first hiding knife block in bin, locking gun cupboard and pledging fillet steak for life to family Rotweiller.
Briefing commences and Wife quickly summons extra sensory powers to call bullsh!te on Husband, before instantly and severley damaging Husband's sense of self worth and suspending all forms of initimacy until further notice.
Continuing free falling share price is miraculously saved one day by shares being suspended from trading and being subject to a Federal Court hearing. Husband then begins to frequently mention in passing that "shares are starting to do well" (simply because they have ceased getting any worse!)
Meanwhile Husband carefully puts all planning in place for great escape upon resumption of trading.
Trading resumes, slight spike is noticed and Husband takes the proverbial dump.
In the interim, clever Wife learns all about share alerts and how to appear nonchalant and uninformed.
Soon after aforementioned dump, Wife innocently asks husband again about education and travel.
Husband proudly announces to Wife (before checking today's ASX announcements) that he is a legend, has become a Master of Wordsmithing and that since that "in recent memory" low point in their relationship "... has successfully sold all previously under performing shares at more than anyone would have thought possible" and asks for total forgiveness and the possible resumption of doona dancing.
Wife then remains still and stares without blinking for what seems like eternity while slowly inhaling all known sources of air within a 5k radius before calling upon a vast array of words, gestures, body language, threats and punishments over a period of 32 minutes without inhaling to suscintly inform husband of how much she will unconditionally love and respect him for the rest of her life (esp given it's now a cert that his will be way shorter than hers).
Moral of story and lessons for retail holders of POS:
- Don't sell at "cost" - it's much more than just what we paid;
- Maintain rage, unite and hold tight, and let's all seek demand fair return for:
- cost of own money tied up and opportunities forgone for all this time;
- own risk taken and fair reward in return for buyng into POS story;
- true worth to self or anyone else of POS once a viable going concern.
At least mid 20 c's for mine (howzat?) else all suitors can do as Zopa, truetome, Zebster, Croc16, blowie davybabyk and as the rest of the gang would kindly suggest and rack off.
Love and appreciate everyone's work, have a great week-end with even better ones to come!
