@princey37 the main trick to getting the full wave 3 is to the ride the moving average, it takes a bit of courage and discipline actually, price is near the 2.618% area yes but it hasn't performed like a top there, the top of a wave 1,3, or 5 is and extreme point, price is the farthest away from all moving averages at that point, it also pops outside of the Bollinger bands, this usually happens in a FOMO frenzy and then the sharp pivot retrace forms the back of the wave 4 triangle, no pivot here we`re actually consolidating, we know one of the waves 1,3,5 in an impulse move will be an extended wave (this is an Elliott wave rule) so far it wasn't 1 so it will be 3.or 5. I suspect it`s this 3? because of the way it looks here (or doesn't look here). you would count this more accurately than me but I just don't think this looks like a wave top yet.
