Accelerated approval was given to at least 2 Covid 19 vaccinations that I can remember, but Covid 19 was a global pandemic that pretty much shut down the entire globe. Panic buying, toilet paper out of stock for weeks, fist fights in supermarkets, curfews, travel bans, masks. Now, all forms of Parkinsonian diseases is very serious, especially to those who suffer from them, and their families, but its not exactly on the same scale as a global pandemic.
