@ Silver- agree with your points about pain, life quality. All important. But it still comes back to same issue- do we know for certain the stated pain benefit was from the device? If that’s been confirmed then fine. The gem-abr study from celgene which you can easily find online showed patients got decent pain relief on starting chemo. Did panco patients get other pain treatments we don’t know about?
@ Colgm- agree it’s been agonisingly slow. To be fair wasn’t that partly because they had to do the trial and get 20 patients more? That said and it’s convenient to lay the blame at BSI, it’s also unclear about the quality of regulatory advice the company has been receiving these past few years.
