The headline figures for market sizes - $7 billion for contraception, $1 billion for male testosterone deficiency and so forth - are an absolute upper bound, rather than any kind of estimate of actual likely sales, so I'm not getting excited about them.
The big attraction of Acrux to me is the sheer number and variety of its products, addressing different markets with different partners. That, plus the strong cash holding, limits the potential downside - a very different situation to (say) companies like Avexa or Alchemia or Sirtex (or even Pharmaxis), which are heavily dependent on one or two products.
The upside possibilities are huge, but that's true of most biotechs. It's the limited risks which are the big attraction with Acrux.
