    Sorry Kyle but I have to contradict you on a couple of things. There will always be surgery because of the severity of some sufferers. They'll just use the other method involving the patients own tissue, stitches and staples.
    Mesh variations are still being used, but it seems none are any better. And some Dr's will keep offering it, hopefully first ensuring patients have a full understanding of the horrendous risks. The FDA still hasn't banned it but does state warnings, and states that there is no clinical evidence mesh is any better than non-mesh surgery.
    The rate of problems is probably a factor. 1-3% of sui patients and 2-6% of pop patients. Scotland seems to be the only country to suspend its use.
    There's also been issues with mesh used on hernias. No-one told me that only a couple of years back; but I haven't had any associated problems.
    Your 3-5c prediction should come true at years end.
