How do I know? Because no successful investor let alone someone of his stature would "try and catch a falling knife" or buy in a downtrend.
It's a rookie move, if you really want to talk Buffet one of his most famous quotes is
"rule 1 never loose money rule 2 never forget rule one"
Anyone that's bought volt in the last year hasn't followed that one have they?
