CTAP is not something that is granted per se, it's an expedited pathway to development that speeds up FDA responses, removes time delays to both green lighting clinical protocols and recruiting patients. It doesn't supply funding. The fact that the FDA has responded so quickly and given a thumbs up to a very quick trial based upon well known influenza dosing/end points studies is a result of this pathway.

The trick in funding is not so much in who will sponsor just the upcoming trail (definitely need to be run in the USA) but what are the longer term licensing obligations and opportunities to anyone we get into bed with at this stage. Huge opportunity for all.
