I am not particularly interested in every compound BIT was looking at 20 years ago, but few years back, we had compounds likely to have efficacy against the Zika virus, which is a very close relation to Dengue.

Biotron was not intending to develop the molecule, but was approached by a lab that did the tests for free. Based in the USA, I think.

Results positive.

Compounds are filed away and awaiting developmental opportunity.
I doubt that anyone is likely to finance the cure for a disease that is not a major first world problem, so there they sit.

It is indeed a diverse library.

Alberto's words were a little cryptic, but I think he was inferring that he had dengue fever. He found hope in Biotron's work. I hope he survived.
