Sent them some examples - they replied that their's is not a realtime feed from the ASX and that (from the sounds of it) the ASX site is polled every "n" minutes so that the "flag" could be up to (lets say) 10min after the notice to the ASX is "published" on the ASX and announcements another (lets say) 10min later again.

In other words, the COMMSEC "service" is almost useless for announcements - so, the moment a "flag" occurs for an interesting stock, I now go to the ASX site and query for the announcement.

What I can't understand is how, "before", COMMSEC used to be reasonably timely, now all that has changed...
