I see the OLE Study as a valuable pointer to what may lay ahead in the STRIKE trial, as well as providing supporting analysis of long term usage of Monepantel. The safety profile to date is outstanding. It supports the old Hippocratic principle of "first, do no harm".

My hope is that all current patients will complete the full 12 months of the study. But the reality is that some may expire, but the data they provide in the meantime is still of great value.

I recall MT mentioning in an interview that the OLE study could be expanded. I would love to see another cohort of 6 Australian patients recruited for inclusion at the 10mg dose level to compare outcomes with the Healey platform.

Monepantel is increasingly looking like the safest and most effective option to become the new standard of care for ALS/MND.
We are not there yet, but things are pointing in the right direction....

As i suspected no FightMND grant, but the data from the extended trial shows MPL is slowing the disease and great news for the patients.
Not sure if Calvary Health will get a FightMND grant.
