Could you get the kid with the PhD in biotech, who's a biostatistician to look into it?

The statement "you just have to take it on faith" causes me some concern that he may have gotten his PhD from somewhere like Notre Dame, rather than a place where they do investigational work, rigorous analysis, and then come up with insights based on actual findings.

This is meant to be in good humour, but I know this sounds harsh, and I apologise for that. Hopefully having access to someone with that level of appropriate expertise can yield us further insights ... ?
