I think the important thing I missed in my earlier post is this is different from the trial I referenced. I believe in that trial they were testing the effectiveness of a nasal spray in preventing infection.
Our trial on the other hand is showing the results of nasal treatment on an already infected subject. As such these results are showing recce product effect as a therapeutic or treatment, rather than a preventative. Maybe everyone else already knew this but just thought I'd correct my earlier post.
If the product can be given to someone already infected and it can significantly reduce the viral load that should be a significant result.
