    AES was a bit tougher nut to crack than UEP.Since the battery seems to be "only" a means to an end, the focus at Apollo is more on the fuel cells

    (and I'm not a chemist as mentioned before!).

    There are really brilliant minds at work here and AES is again one of those "hidden champions" with a ton of experience,that Volt seems to have a knack for.

    So while you don't find much under their batteries, the whole thing becomes more informative with their hydrogen fuel cells and of course the DOE is on board again
