Good question as to impact on "good bacteria" in the gut. They've said elsewhere that the drug is more or less dissipated before it gets to the gut, and I assume H. Pylori is in the stomach rather than the gut (since causes stomach ulcers ). Question is whether there are any "good bacteria" normally in the stomach that could be collateral damage?
