re: Ann: Positive Outcome From FDA Meeting Fo... Of cause Diabetes is sig, but they have VERY short term results from animal studies. Lets say its works as well as in the primates over 12 weeks, but decreases effect over the next few months -such a drug would be almost worthless.
If it gives long term (several years in the low end)or can be repeated without a diminishing effect then its an insanely massive drug - but thats a big stretch at this stage.
