Interesting note from OSL. Having personal experience with a very close family member who had a successful Whipple procedure just over 3 years ago and now no signs of any return of her tumor (6 monthly tests). Granted we were very luckily that the tumor was picked up by chance early before it had metastasised and the tumor was close to the tail of the pancreas allowing for a successful resection. I am not an expert or doctor but with a chance of the OSL technology to give me a chance of a possible resection that would be enough for me to give it a go. I am also assuming that if the tumor reduced in size but not enough for a resection that at least it might reduce the pain that this illness brings and if it extends the amount of time one has with loved ones with less pain then why not?
