Yes there are some very big questions indeed and I look forward to the unfolding drama!
My guess on what has happened:
- Topical spray does not work
- Since discovering it doesn't work, RCE developed the gel formulation
- Gel is showng promise and they are trying to get someone interested in supporting a P1/P2 trial.
- RCE are scared the failed trial will tank the SP so are trying to bury it until they have new trials lined up.
- Some poor RA accidently published the trial update to ANZCTR before RCE expected them to.
And my guess on what the next steps will be:
- TH. Announcement of a new P1/P2 Gel Trial, DFI trial, and a CR.
- Raise to sophs at 58c, $30m, attached SPP.
