Hi reon1 - yes I think you have cracked it - well done, I hadn't thought about it from that angle, makes sense, especially looking at the results i.e. the liquid - IV 'fluid' would give the biggest/quickest hit at 1hr vs the Gel, which as someone else mentioned previously, would take longer & in a more controlled way, to move out into the skin surface.
However after 24hrs the result is approx the same.

So for 'real' I.V. at faster infusion rates, we wait for clinical trials to progress. Even if the results mirror the initial slower rates, we potentially have a great tool for UTI infections with the added bonus of a bit of a kidney tonic - 'kidney tonic', sounds a bit like the old adverts for various types of 'cure all' kidney tonics from last century !!
