Interesting because in theory the whole advantage of Rce is that it should work when an infection has proven resistant to all other treatments. We always hear about Antibiotic resistant infections becoming a big issue but maybe they are still not as common as one might think. Surely every time there is an infection that is not responding to any other standard drugs doctors would be happy to use and would think patients woukd be happy to get a drug that might work where others dont and no alternative available?
maybe one problem is doctors still don't know it is available by special access? We certainly still hear about plenty of patients suffering flesh eating infections or sepsis, often leading to amputations or death because apparently no treatment available?? Surely every one of those patients would be up for it knowing the consequences with no other option available?
