Correct, its government's plan to bring investment in, not government investing themselves. However to bring in investment, they will work in a partnership with the mining sector to provide support needed. They will invest in infrastructures along with the sectors that will attract the investments e.g. port, road, rail etc. We are yet to see what level of support they provide to facilitate the targeted investments. It could be in the form of low interest loan to fund capex (like TAS and NT do) or guaranteeing the loans etc. That is my understanding. Would love your view on this Ned.
