This is actually one of the catalysts for our cynicism. The early results showed that plasma concentrations in the human trials were drastically lower than what was required to kill Sepsis in the earlier animal in vivo studies. A board member on an interview claimed they were high enough but then the company ran another trial where they jacked up the doses even higher. They never released plasma concentration data for this study and from then on Sepsis seemed to fade to the back and was no longer their goal, or talked about. Since then, the trial data released has been lacking to say the least. This has happened several times, if something doesn't work, they hide it, do a pivot in focus and expect us not to realise. Part of the pivot is understandable as they try and hone in on what RCE327 is best suited to. But all the smoke and mirrors, lies and hiding that take place around the pivots makes people like me doubt the trustworthyness of the company and their communications. So when you get a vague dataless 'meets endpoints' result, I worry greatly about how positive it really was.
