of the 15,500 historic samples taken only 500 or so were ever tested for TUNGSTEN.
There was a then small tungsten resource reported measured at Bracken Spur out of a total 993KT measuring .06% Tungsten.inferred etc higher %
One can presume maybe this was the only drilling to that date measuring tungsten undertaken to achieve this.
There is also mention of historic selective reworking of old workings to remove high concentrations of tungsten from standing pillars etc.
Is this where the historic 400T of Tungsten production came from ?

Lets hope LRV also tested the Tungsten content of the tailings dam.
Apparently the likely cause of higher Antimony at the top layer may have to do with the fact they used to cast Antimony billets however the quality of the recycled water due to this via the tailings pit progressively reduced Antimony yield through the flotation circuit until the then plant configuration closed prior to 2010.

So one could surmise the 1MT tailings dam could hold Tungsten at any percentage but assuming .06% would be in the vicinity of 600 tons gross
being a pessimist assuming 50% recovery = 300 tons at $40,000 a ton = $12m potential resource.

There certainly must have been a reason the last operator was in the throws of adding a Tungsten recovery circuit.
