If you are genuinely new to the market and are interested in learning, hotcopper is extremely dangerous. Most posts/posters are not helpful in any meaningful way.

I am not an investor in CSL, but generally if you are worried about sentiment in this sort of stock and are genuinely new, you may find it difficult up against the hedge funds etc that actually influence the price of large cap stocks. If you are a long term fundamental investor, sometimes the best time to buy is when sentiment is down (But to be honest Warren buffets buy when there is blood on the streets is the most misused saying on these forums as the price has to be matched by some sort of valuation principle that you think the majority of the participants in the market are missing). If you are interested in fundamental analysis and are genuinely new/ interested to learn I can point you in the direction of some posters to follow. If this is off the mark just ignore it!
