So the good news is that not only can the company reduce the Magnesium level to battery grade levels of 10 ppm , they can also sell the Magnesium by product!

Further cost saving for the company is that the Lithium Brine is naturally heated to 60 degrees celsius.

associated with heating the brine before processing."
- "The brines are under pressure and at a higher temperature than would be expected (1400 F). This has resulted in the brines flowing to the surface when intersected by historic drill holes."
And the best part of all is the time they will now save by not having to use evaporation ponds and therefore get the Lithium product to market so much faster than competitors can!
"In addition, by using a processing plant and avoiding the use of evaporation ponds, processing is reduced to hours compared to multiple months using traditional evaporation and processing techniques."
"Brine, typically carrying 200–1,400 milligrams per liter of lithium, is pumped to the surface and concentrated by evaporation in a succession of ponds, each in the chain having a greater lithium concentration.
After 9-12 months, depending on climate, a concentrate of 1 to 2 percent lithium is further processed in a chemical plant to yield various end products, such as lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide."
