@Bpharma, I agree that it is not about reaching the 16,000 by itself, so that is not the primary target. Its about knowing how far we can go in general with R327, if we inject it into the body. This information is extremely valuable and key for not only sepsis, but for any future indication that could be treated going forward. I see this as a door opener for much more than only sepsis. Knowing the threshold will also help conduct more precise pre-clinical trials and lead to stronger efficacy data.
Ultimately the same will have to be done with any other drug of Recce that is planned to be administered into the bloodstream. Its great to have this done in the near future for our most promising drug.
