My two cents, Its just a question of what everyones risk appetite is. I posted recently on another Recce thread the odds of success for clinical trials so Im well aware of our prospects based on historical data.
The burns trial has killed everything and faster than they anticipated so much so they reduced the treatment time. We had the special access for chornic sinusitis which cleared the infection (admittedly only a sample size of 1 but an infection which the incumbent antibiotics was unable to resolve) Now we have a phase one clinical trial for sepsis which has so far ticked every box as the doses escalate. Everything is tracking along beautifully. I dont think we will be sitting at 19% chance of success after the burns and IV phase 1 trials are complete.
Im happy to take on the risk with Recce and also happy for others to avoid. Each to their own!
