I must have missed that Livent is using and building evaporation ponds, true thatEven though they have this efficient DLE process, they just like spending money and doing this inefficient. Quite logical.
Zangge and Lanke I'm not sure, but Lanke I believe are pilotting DLE, and not succeeding until now. Let alone that we have any insight in cost. Afaik carbonate at Qinghai lake is produced via evaporation ponds, not a DLE process.
All the DLE plants in development are in the test phase. Maybe they will work, maybe they don't. Also cost to be proven.
