I don't think anyone is going to work up on that ridge through an Alaskan winter in deep snow, blizzard conditions with a wind chill factor of whatever and mostly dark. As they say, it'll be a seasonal operation. Having unsealed roads into the area will certainly help to get more done, in the season, compared to heli ops and obviously way less expensive.
