Agree… defence, aerospace, medical, energy storage get into those first. Then as production techniques further improve and volume and cost come down expand out.
the raw materials are relatively common and inexpensive. Manufacturing cost and volume has been the issue. They have made incredible improvements on this but it’s still a long way to go before cost is low enough to justify use in such common everyday items. it also changes the whole value proposition for product / company. From low volume high margin, to needing extremely low cost and high volume for any meaningful return. Particularly when as an additive it’s % in composition is likely very low, as in the <1% in this paint additive.
I hope they have some more meaningful projects on the go.
